Inscription text: Bobby Evan's's Hotel, Falls of Schuylkill, catfish suppers etc. etc. in 1845. This house is located about 150 yards east of the County bridge on the East side of the Schuylkill, and was a stopping place for all riding up the Wissahickon. D.J.K. Now, in 1897, it is known as Tissots Park Hotel.
