Image description: Portrait of Quaker abolitionist Lucretia Mott (1793-1880).  A resident of Philadelphia, Mott was a prominent abolitionist and promoter of women’s rights, temperance, and peace.  In 1833, Mott organized the Philadelphia Female Anti-Slavery Society at 107 North 5th Street.
