Image Description:
At a Proctor Electric Company rally, male and female military members address a large crowd of mostly female war workers.  During WWII, Proctor changed its focus from producing household electric equipment to production of bomb fuses, cartridges, and wing flaps. Photographs also depict military men touring the factory and taking their turn with the manufacturing equipment.  War workers can also be seen raising their hands which indicates they had family or friends somewhere in the service.
