Wassell, winner of the Navy Cross and doctor who evacuated wounded men in Ausralia from an abandoned hospital was the primary speaker at this Sun Oil Company rally.  His heroics led to the making of the film "The Story of Dr. Wassell."  Crowds of petroleum workers listen on.  The Sun Oil Company was one of the largest single producers of high-octane gasoline in the world during WWII.
