Image Description:
In 1883 O'Donnell, who was found guilty for the murder of James Carey, was executed in London.  In the image there a body of a man holding pistol is underneath the paws of a large lion representing Great Britain.  The man holds the label "Assassin O'Donnell."  There are crows and gallows in the background.  William Robinson, Abram Hewitt, and Samuel Cox try to twist the lion's tail but are unable.  Robinson holds a newspaper with the inscription:  "the demands of 20,000,000 Irish-Americans."
