1) Hand-lettered, hand-decorated religious text. Incipit: "Got [Gott] ist die L[iebe] und wer in der Liebe bleibet, der bleibet in Gott" (God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God). Black ink, hand-lettered. Depicts birds and floral patterns. Document is a fragment, torn along right side.

2) Four adjecent heart-shapes, of which two are filled with religious text. Incipit: "Siehe ich komme als ein Dieb" and "So seyd [...]" Text in black ink, shapes decorated with colors.

Pen-work done in the Ephrata Cloister, 1786, probably by Christina Fahnestock Lasche. Might have been used as house blessing.
