Handwritten business or file card for John E. Fryer. M. D., a.k.a. Dr. Henry Anonymous.  Fryer appeared, disguised as "Dr. H. Anonymous," during the American Psychiatric Association's 1972 Annual Meeting to discuss being gay and a psychiatrist.  This speech is considered an important event in the decision to remove homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
