A letter typed by U.H. Painter to Edward Johnson regarding an endorsement of the grammaphone, which Edison and Painter reject strongly. There is a handwritten note by Painter, addressed to Edison which wraps around the border of the document. He pleads with Edison to meet up and "straighten this out."
