Two images that depict John Fryer at the American Psychiatric Association meetings in 1977 and 1979.  In 1977, he is shown seated at the organ.  Fryer famously appeared at the 1972 Annual Meeting disguised at "Dr. H. Anonymous."  He spoke about being gay and a psychiatrist.  This speech is considered an important event in the decision to remove homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
