This newspaper clipping from The Advocate concerning a gay church in Philadelphia was kept by John E. Fryer, M. D.  Fryer famously appeared at the 1972 Annual Meeting disguised at "Dr. H. Anonymous."  He spoke about being gay and a psychiatrist.  This speech is considered an important event in the decision to remove homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
