These handwritten notes are in preparation for Fryer's participation on a discussion panel during the American Psychiatric Association's 1972 Annual Meeting.  He appeared disguised as "Dr. H. Anonymous" to discuss being gay and a psychiatrist.  This speech is considered an important event in the decision to remove homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
