Inscription:
Christs Church Lancaster Co. Virginia, Built by Robert Carter in 1732. He and his two wives occupy the lot to the right, this church occupies the site of a former one, the general vestry of which in 1661 consisted of John Carter, Henry Corbyn, David Fox, & Wm. Leech. Henry E. Corbin my father in law was buried here in April 2nd 1826. D.J. Kennedy. (Front Bottom)
