White covered bridge with stone piers and abutments. The bridge provides passage over a river, and the surrounding land is hilly with grass and several trees. People are visible crossing the bridge, and a man fishes off one of the piers. Exact location is unknown--georeference is an approximation.

Sketch of the Old Wooden Bridge across the Schuylkill, below the Falls, which was burnt down in 1834. This bridge stood about 100 feet below present stone R.Road Bridge. The old piers & abutments were removed, the stone being valuable for building purposes. Sketched by D.J.Kennedy (Front Bottom)
