The Punch Bowl. "This old land mark,"situate on the west side of Broad Street 180 feet norht of Diamond, was built about 1835 many years previous to Broad Street being graded; Here, the Summer Road to Laurel Hill by the Lamb Tavern, Warton and Ralston properties and the Chapel of St. James the Less passed off Broad Street to the left, It was much used by parties to the Falls of Schuylkill. Demolished June 24th, 1891
