Image: Waxed, overpainted salted paper print, backed with white paper; Head and shoulders of a woman with hair parted in the center and worn in tight curls over her ears, wearing a black dress buttoned in the front, with a whitework collar, a gold and red brooch at her throat, with pink ribbons and white lace in her hair. Preserver: Straight and embossed with simple pattern (after 1850). Mat: [none]. Case: Plain Red-velvet covered oval case with push-button fastener and gray silk cushion.
