Image Description:
Light gray mansion constructed in three sections; the left and right sections are three stories and the center is two stories. The back yard is enclosed by a white fence, and several trees are scattered around the lot. People stand in the front and back yards, and a horse drawn carriage stands near the large front porch. Erected by Judge William Lewis in 1789. Lewis D. 1819, then became residence of Joseph Hemphill who died in 1842.
