Correspondence collected by General George Gordon Meade's son, Col. George Meade Jr., regarding General Meade and the Battle of Gettysburg. These letters were used by Colonel Meade in writing a biography of his father entitled, The Life and Letters of General Meade. Also included in this record is a map identified as "New Market Cross Roads June 30, 1862 with positions of troops about 2 o'clock PM."
