Biography:

Morris Milgram was a pioneer in the development of integrated housing. His first community, Concord Park, consisted of 139 detached homes and opened in 1954 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In 1968 he became the first recipient of the National Human Rights Award from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Milgram was instrumental in the formation of the Fund for an OPEN society. OPEN is a non-profit organization that provides affordable mortgages for home purchases that increase diversity.
