Captain Noyes served as an American aviator in France during WWI.Items include a set of letters from Noyes concerning his application to the Officer Reserve Corps. Also included is a typed letter from H.C. Lodge United States Senate, which I believe is Henry Cabot Lodge, vouching for Stephen Noyes in character and ability for the the appointment to the aviation section of the Reserve Corps.
