Maps showing proposed sites for the United Nations Headquarters in Philadelphia and Chestnut Hill.  In 1945, Philadelphia campaigned to become the permanent home of the United Nations headquarters and produced various maps and pamphlets in support of appointing Philadelphia the so-called "Peace Capital of the World."

(1) is "Map A" showing proposed site for the United Nations Capital in Fairmount Park and in relation to parkways and expressways, major highways, railroad stations, and airports, as well as administrative, cultural, and historic centers.

(2) is map of proposed Montgomery County site for the United Nations Capital in Chestnut Hill.
