A pamphlet in support of the Third Liberty Loan of 1918  to raise money for the war effort in Europe, written in the spirit of Benjamin Franklin and his Poor Richard's Almanac.  The pamphlet supports the purchase of Liberty Bonds as a partriotic duty and sound investment, and includes endorsements from Woodrow Wilson, Theodore Roosevelt, Willam H. Taft, William G. McAdoo, Cardinal Gibbons, Charles Edward Russell, and Henry Van Dyke.  The pamphlet also has sections about German war aims, the history of war loans in the United States, the first and second Liberty Loans and their conversion privileges, and a blank section for the Third Liberty Loan.  Quotes from Benjamin Franklin and "Poor Richard, Jr." are found at the bottom of each page.  The back of the pamphlet is a detachable form for individuals to buy bond denominations and present to a bank or trust.
