Terrific Feat political cartoon, 1888

Image Description:
The image depicts President Grover Cleveland, dressed as a circus performer, jumping through a hoop labeled "Anti-Chinese Bill."  Allen Thurman is dressed as a knight and holds the hoop upright for the President.  John Bull, the symbol for Great Britain, is the ringmaster.  In the background there is a donkey wearing a blindfold with the initials "D.P."
