Image Description:
The political cartoon is divided into four vignettes.  In the first, Native Americans and the US army are engaged in a battle. The soldiers fire guns and cannons at the Native Americans. In the second vignette, white settlers take the Native Americans' money and clothing.  A soldier hunts buffalo in the background. In the third, settlers who are searching for gold shoot and stab several Native Americans.  In the fourth vignette, a Native American is put on display on a stage.  White settlers, as well as their children and pets, gather around the stage.
