James Logan letter to Peter Collinson (1694–1768). Collinson, a London cloth merchant, was a fellow of the Royal Society and a botanist who was the center of an international circle of exchange. In this letter Logan recounts for Collinson a visit with Swedish botanist Pehr Kalm and Benjamin Franklin.
