Letter from Thomas Lee to Conrad Weiser, both delegates to the Treaty of Lancaster with the Six Nations. Lee, a founder of the Ohio Company, a land speculation group, had interests in opening up the land west of the Shenandoah Valley for colonization and sale. Conrad Weiser acted as interpreter for the Iroquois and English.

This letter informs Weiser that a son of his friend, Shikellimy, an Oneida chief, had died in battle.
