These progress negatives depict a 4-Special Model 60A Car Body, built for the American Car & Foundry Export Co. for Uruguayan State Railways. Order was received 1934-06-14 and shipped on 1934-10-13.
12630: Right side (and slightly to the front) view of frame (no undercarriages). Picture shot inside factory building
12633: Aerial view of frame.
12640: Right side view of car body (no undercarriages) with front baggage door and center passenger entrance (both closed). "Ferrocarriles del Estado" is printed on the side of the car, above the windows. Factory buildings visible in background.
12641: Similar view of car as shown in photo 12640, but slightly more front. Brill water tower visible in background.
12645: Interior view of car, looking towards rear. Shows six rows of leather-upholstered transverse bucket seats. There is also a wrap-around bench at the back of the car that spans the width of the car. "Interior-Uruguay" is typed on the front of the photo.
12648: Interior view of car, looking towards rear. Shows eight rows of wooden transverse seats.
