Known officially as the 67th New York Infantry, the First Long Island Volunteers were raised in Brooklyn in 1861. The recruits were mostly Irish immigrants to New York.This record depicts several muster rolls and their copies, as well as the re-enlistment "Veteran volunteers" muster-in roll for December 1863 in accordance with General Orders No. 191.
