A letter written by Benjamin Franklin while residing in London, to fellow revolutionary John Ross (1726-1800). Franklin begins the letter by giving Ross his condolences and congratulations on his current bout of gout, of which Franlkin has had much experience. He then shares his intial reaction to the destruction of property during the Stamp Act Riots.
