This small booklet (labeled as: "Unidentified Magical Formulas") contains magical formulas and recipes handwritten in German by an unidentified author. The German script was written in a mixture of cursive latin and handschrift.

Pages 1-5 list letters from A-W with some annotations. Pages 6-7 describe how to make gunpowder. Page 7 describes how to maintain a gun. Page 8 provides a recipe facilitating catching fish. Pages 9-10 describe a recipe that gives strength and power. Pages 10-11 describe various recipes (for lotion, items to carry) to keep endurance, to avoid tiredness and sweating when marching. Pages 11-12 gives a recipe to avoid drunkenness. Pages 12-13 describe recipes that help find out whether somebody is dead or alive. Page 13 advises how to continue a journey despite being spellbound. Pages 13-14 advise how to find a person who is believed to have drowned. Page 14 describes how to avoid insomnia. Page 14 describes how to make iron harder. Pages 15-24 describe how to successfully hunt game, including advice on time of year to hunt, recipes, etc. Pages 24-32 describe how to improve shooting, gives general advice and recipe for gunpowder (page 29). Page 32 gives a recipe for how to make yourself invisible.
