These two photographic prints from the J.G. Brill Company depict a double-decker railcar manufactured by the company around 1895-1896 [date estimation based on order number].

Photographic print 1053 depicts the right side view of double deck car with open upper deck and stairwells at either end.  The upper deck has seven rows of wooden transverse seats and vertically-striped canvas shades. Print 1054 depicts the Interior view of the same car. Shows an inward-facing fabric-upholstered longitudinal bench on both sides of the car. There are two men standing by the door to the platform. Windows have wooden-slatted shades. Both of these photographs correspond to order 7100 of the J.G. Brill Company, however, any additional order information is missing form their records.
