This digital record contains five images that depict four photographs of the Fairmount Water Works held in box 13 (medium series) of the Boies Penrose pictorial Philadelphia collection [V60], folder 3. There is a donation date of 1912 on one photograph, and this same photograph lists the photographer as R. Rewell & Son, Landscape and General Business Photographers, 626 Arch Street. The other three photographs are undated.

Folder 3 is labeled as, "Water Works," and contains 7 additional photographs [currently undigitized] depicting: Belmont Pumping Station; Old Water Works (Front & Chestnut, Ruins on Schuylkill River South); Pipe Aqueduct; Reservoir; and Roxborough Water Works.
