The Scott Residence in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania (later known as Woodburne Mansion) was designed by Horace Trumbauer for Edgar Scott.  The house remained in the Scott family until the 1930's.  Delaware County purchased the property in 2016.  Trumbauer was one of Philadelphia's leading architects in the early middle part of the 20th century.  He designed the Philadelphia Museum of Art and parts of the Free Library.  He designed several college and university buildings throughout the country, as well as residences in New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C., and Newport.  Images in this record are a selection only.  Additional drawings include the Roof, Basement, Sub-Basement, Sections AA and BB, the Power House, and finish details of the Main Hall, Living Room, Library, Gallery Hall, Dining Room, Breakfast Room, and Drawing Room.
