Residence of John Savage, Esq. North west corner of Spruce and 11th Streets, build in 1821. Capt. Jack Savage the last of the family lived here and at his own expense raised and equipped a Company of Calvary which under his command did good service in the War of the rebellion, he died in Wisconsin. Demolished in June 1889. Sketched by D.J. Kennedy, Mar. 1889.
