A blue and white steamship with five flags. Numerous passengers on deck.
Inscription:
The Steamer "Trenton", was built at New York by Mr. Stevens in 1824, on April 4th 1825 she made her trial trip on the Hudson. For many years she ran on the Delaware carrying the New York passengers between Philada., Bordentown & Tacony. In 1865 she was transferred to the east end of the line, running from South Amboy to New York City. Shortly afterwards an accident befel her, she was thoroughly examined, condemned, dismantled & hauled to the Hoboken shore, where her timbers now rot in the mud.
