Lithograph entitled " A View of the City of Brotherly Love" published by H.R. Robinson circa 1842.  The lithograph depicts various scenes of social and racial unrest in the city of Philadelphia, including the August 1842 parade for West Indian emancipation and subsequent riot.  At the top of the lithograph, a bust of William Penn is seen looking down at the turmoil above the caption "Wise Laws and a prompt and just administration of them."
