Image: Baby in a long-sleeved light colored dress with gathers on the upper arms propped up on a cushioned chair and pillow. Preserver: Straight but more ornate (1850s). Mat: Nonpariel with sandy finish (1840s). Case: Leather covered wood frame embossed with a rare "Bouquet of Flowers' (Berg No. 5-122) floral design on the front and an unmatched floral design on the back, with exterior and interior gilded edge trim, with a red velvet pinchpad and a red velvet cushion embossed with a vase design (ca. 1850).
