Images 1 -4 are all of the framed object assembled: images 1 and 2 of the recto, and images 3 and 4 of the verso.
Images 5 - 17 are all parts of the object disassembled, including:
Images 5 and 6 showing the two photographic elements side by side - the recto of the board mounted and hand painted salted paper print, and the verso of the glass mounted hand painted salted paper print;
Images 7 and 8 show the recto, and images 9 and 10 show the verso of the glass mounted hand painted salted paper print;
Images 11 and 12 show the recto, and images 13 and 14 show the verso of the the board mounted and hand painted salted paper print;
Images 15 and 16 show the backing board (with photographer's mounted advertisement) which was placed behind the sealed ivorytype, and beneath the wooden slats on the verso of the assembled frame;
and Image 17 shows the recto of the empty frame.
Images 18 and 19 show the assembled object as it looked when the two images were out of registration, before conservation treatment was completed to rectify this issue.
