Sheet of stamps issued to commemorate the Sesquicentennial of the signing of the United States Constitution in September 1937.  This sheet of 50 3-cent stamps was sold for $1.50 to Philadelphia Mayor S. Davis Wilson at Indepedence Hall by Postmaster Joseph F. Gallagher on Constitution Day.  The stamps depict the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787.
