Biography:

Charles Henry Sykes was an American cartoonist.  He was born on November 12, 1882 in Alabama.  He attended the Drexel Institute of Art, Science, and Industry.  He worked as a cartoonist for the North American, Evening Public Ledger, and the New York Evening Post.  He was also an editorial cartoonist for Life magazine from 1922-1928.  He died in 1942.
