Biography:

Charles Ezra Beury was named the second president of Temple University in 1926. He was also a banker, serving as president of the National Bank of North Philadelphia and the chairman of the board of Philadelphia Bank and Trust Company from 1928 until it merged with Bankers Trust Company in July 1930
