Biography:

Charles P. Bloome was a member of the Committee of Seven, a group of Bankers Trust Company depositors representing the interests of citizens who wanted to withdraw a greater percentage of their deposits than the board of directors was initially willing to provide. He was also chairman of the National Depositors Committee and coordinator of the Philadelphia Retail Clothing Merchants Association.
