Biography:

George Frederick Keller was born in 1846 in Prussia and immigrated to the United States.  He settled in San Francisco where he worked as an apprentice for a lithographer.  He later partnered with F.M. Griswold to open a short-lived lithography business.  Keller worked for the Wasp from 1876-1883.
