Biography:

Otho Cushing was born in 1871.  He attended the Boston School of Fine Arts and the Academie Julian in Paris.  Cushing was a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and later moved to Paris to serve as the art editor for the European edition of the Herald-Tribune.  He was also a cartoonist for Life.  He died in 1942 in New York.
