Kittera, Thomas, son of John Wilkes Kittera, Representative from Pa., b. Lancaster, Pa., Mar. 21, 1789; d. Philadelphia, Pa., June 16, 1839; lawyer, admitted to bar in 1808, practice in Philadelphia, attorney general of Pa., 1817-18, deputy attorney general of Phila., 1824-26, elected to and member of 19th U.S. Congress, 1826-27.
