Biography:
Dr. Veit Valentin was a German historian and archivist, born 1885 in Frankfort am Main. He fled Germany in 1938, first to London and then to North America, as a political enemy of the National Socialist Party. Valentin toured the United States as a lecturer, spending 1940-1941 at the University of Pennsylvania. He passed away in 1947 while residing in Washington, D.C.
