The people of Philadelphia during the October 1, 1764 election just outside of the old courthouse.  There is a line of men waiting on the steps to enter the courthouse to vote, commenting on the candidates, their parties, politics, and religion.  Also, servants and slaves are depicted.

Full title is "The election, a medley, humbly inscribed to Squire Lilliput, provfessor of scurrility."

Artist is likely Henry Dawkins and publisher Isaac Hunt, who is also the author of the verse.  Originally published in Philadelphia.
