This cartoon predicts the flourishing of English commerce with the repeal of the Stamp Act.  It depicts a group of men in a funeral procession on the Thames River with a bank of warehouses in the background.  On the quay, behind two bishops at the end of the procession, are two bales labeled "Stamps from America" and "Black cloth return'd from America."

Thix is a mixed media etching and engraving published in London.  Artist was likely Benjamin Wilson.
