Image Description:
Merion Golf Club is a private golf club located in Haverford Township, Pennsylvania.  Made up of two golf courses, East Course and West Course, Merion has hosted five U.S. Opens, eleven U.S. Amateur championships, and three International team competitions.  The East Course is famously known for the pins on each hole being topped with wicker baskets instead of flags, which have been in use since at least 1916.
