Inscription:
McArans Garden, south west corner of 17th and Arch streets in 1840. This sketch is made up a tree on the N.E. cor. previous to the erection of the frame work for the exhibition of Mount Vesuvious. Entrance on Filbert Street. (Front Bottom)
