Potters Field, West Philadelphia. This view is taken from the east end of the Market St. Bridge across the Schuylkill, Mr. Wm. Wilsons residence and Black lead factory, Potters field was on the left of the sketch inside of the white fence, and here Hettie Hamilton was buried. Sketched at low tide by D.J. Kennedy in 1848.
